I'll have to adjust the length on the top a little bit, but I can see where it'll be easy to have a seamstress do that. The dress itself is super elegant without being stuffy. I like the pattern and the buttons seem like they'll wear well. It's a little tight around my middle but I've gained a few pounds over the summer that I plan to take off...then it'll fit perfectly. I can still wear it now...just a bit gappy between buttons. The hem hits at mid thigh (which is perfect). This is going to be a great fall addition to my work wardrobe with either a turtle underneath and/or an oversized blazer over top. I'm 5'3" and 130 LBS. Also, my torso is a bit longer than my lower half, which is why I mentioned that the bit above the waist feels a bit long and might need to be adjusted slightly.
