Relaxed but Chic

I like this ensemble, the material is of very good quality. I am 5.7 ft and 137 lbs and usually wear a U.S. sz. 6. However, I find the top a little wide while I would have liked the pants' waist slightly looser by ~.5 to 1 inch. If they were jeans, the waist would have been perfect. However, because this entire set has a relaxed & loose style, I would like that look/feel in the waist as well. A size M should have been wider just at the waist.
So I will make a couple of alterations to make this perfect for me.
