’ve been a repeat Commense customer and have generally had positive experiences, which is why I’m hoping this situation can be resolved fairly.

I purchase clothing online frequently for both work and personal use, so accurate fabric descriptions are extremely important. This dress was presented as an elegant dinner-style piece with “regular” fabric, but the actual material is very thin and does not reflect the structure or quality shown in the photos. The difference between the listing and the product received was significant.

What makes this more disappointing is the context. I purchased this item using store credit that was issued because my original order was lost in the warehouse and never delivered. When I reached out about the fabric discrepancy, I was told the dress was not eligible for return due to the use of store credit — despite the credit being issued from a fulfillment issue on the brand’s side.

I’ve appreciated Commense in the past and would prefer to continue purchasing, but consistency and trust in product descriptions are essential when shopping online. I’m hopeful the team will reconsider this situation and offer a reasonable resolution so I can continue shopping with confidence.
