There were some odd choices made in how they chose to construct this dress. First of all, the slip made it so the dress was not thick thigh friendly. Basically, for some reason the skirt clung to my stomach and road up. But I just ended up cutting the slip on both sides, and fixed those problems. However, and I have had this problem with other non-stretch commense dresses, the chest area is way too small. You'll see in my picture that I'm dangerously close to a nipple slip and the top sides of my breasts are spilling out. This wouldn't have been a problem if they didn't add the seam that is supposed to run under the breasts. I'm a size 12, so XL fits me pretty well from the waist down. But commense seems to forget that larger busted women exist. I love their dress designs but I wish they would address that issue.

Beautiful fit. very flattering and can be tied in halter or over shoulder. light material.
LOVE the dress. It's just small fitting in my opinion especially if you have boob's!! Order bigger size if you're curvy on top. It's also quite short. I'm 5ft 6 and it was well above the knee.
